Shoreditch London have over 10 years experience hosting game launches, gaming industry events and hackathons in our unique warehouse event spaces Shoreditch Studios and Kachette.
According to the 2018 Global Games Market Report, UK is the 6th largest video game market in the world generating $4.5 billion dollars in gaming revenue in 2018. The events sector is driving this growth with major game launches all hosting launch events and game previews for influencers, bloggers and game industry press.
A new trend in gaming events, which I’m sure we will see a lot more of, is game brands teaming up fashion brands for game launch events. #Hypexcod was a collaboration between Hype Clothing and Activision at Kachette for the beta launch of Call Of Duty Black Ops 4. Fitness, sporting and streetwear fashion brands are well positioned for game launches so watch this space for future event collaborations.
We regularly host game launches for major gaming brands including Activision, Electronic Arts and Microsoft Studios and industry leading consoles Sony Playstation and Microsoft Xbox.
We have also hosted hackathons for PwC and Dropbox and worked with all the major London game industry PR and event agencies including NJ Live, Red Consultancy and Koch Media.
Games industry events, game launches and hackathons are an essential part of Shoreditch London’s annual event calendar. As well as traditional console game launches, our 2018 gaming events calendar has also been dominated by Esports and mobile game launches.
