Shoreditch Studios is perfect for wedding ceremonies and receptions with 80 to 165 seated guests.

Ceremony Capacities

Studio 1 can seat up to 165 guests (with room for more)
Studio 2 can seat up to 120 guests

Reception Dining Capacities

Studio 1 can seat up to 165 on long tables (banquet style)
Studio 1 can seat up to 110 on round tables (cabaret style)

Standing Reception Capacities
Standing receptions can accommodate up to 350 guests but wedding generally cap guests numbers at 200-220 to so there is enough room for everyone to dance!

Our venues are perfect for weddings with 80 to 180 seated guests or 200 guest standing receptions. Please provide details of your wedding plans and we will get back to you soon.

WHAT’S THE COST FOR Our Wedding?

Venue setup costs range from £8,000-£10,000 at Kachette and £10,000-£12,000 at Shoreditch Studios. This includes venue hire, VAT, security, furniture, lighting, and a late license. Food, drinks, photography, flowers, and entertainment are extra.

For 100 guests, weddings at Kachette typically spend £30,000-£35,000, and at Shoreditch Studios, £31,000-£36,000. These prices cover all venue hire and setup, a bespoke menu, bar and drinks, registrar or celebrant, decor, furniture, lighting, sound system, DJ, staff, security, setup, transport, cleaning, and a late license to 1am or 2am.

Can WE have a wedding for under £30,000 in the venues?

External suppliers (caterers, florists, DJs, photographers, service and bar staff, security) have all increased their prices considerably in recent years so you will likely need to increase your budget to £30k or more to cover everything you need. On average, weddings in our venues have budgets between £30,000- £38,000. Food and drinks cost per guest is something to consider when making your guest list. Feeding lass guests can save you a lot of money!

Booking A Registrar

Our venues are licensed by Hackney Council for weddings. Please contact them directly to book in a registrar for your wedding to be legally married. See Hackney Council’s ‘approved venues fees’ via their website link below. For couples not looking to host a legal ceremony, we also welcome humanist ceremonies. Both venues can also be hired for receptions only.

Registrars across England are still experiencing high volumes of enquiries and can take a couple of weeks to get back to you. We advise all couples planning a 2022 wedding to get in touch with Hackney Council to check registrar availability ASAP to ensure you have time to secure a registrar for your wedding date.

When Can We View The Venues?

Shoreditch Studios viewings:
Monday to Friday at 8am or 6:30pm

Shoreditch Studios is a really busy venue so it’s not possible to accommodate viewings at other times during the day or on weekends. We have photoshoots, weddings or events booked every day of the year so 6:30pm after photographic shoots finish is the best time to get in and see the venue when it is empty.

Kachette viewings:
Monday to Friday between 9am - 6:30pm on any non-event day.

If you would like to view both venues, we would start at Kachette at 6pm followed by Shoreditch Studios at 6.45pm.
