If you are planning on hosting a humanist ceremony you can either get a friend to host your wedding ceremony or hire a celebrant. Here is a list of all certified London celebrants.

IMPORTANT - If you are chatting to a wedding planner, please let us know who you are considering before you book them. Not all wedding planners are experienced at working in dry hire venues, even if they say they are.

Once you book a wedding planner, please introduce us to them so we can discuss your wedding suppliers, venue set up plans, logistics and venue rules.

IMPORTANT DECISION!!

Before hiring your wedding photographer, we highly recommend taking a look at our ★★★★★ photographers and recommended photographers below.

A photographer with 3-5 years experience will charge around £1800 to £2000.
A photographer with 6-10+ years experience will cost between £2000 to £3500.

Be wary of ‘award winning’ photographers or any photographer who claims to have shot in our venues before but cant prove it. Many industry awards are based on paid submissions, not quality. On several occasions couple have booked a ‘popular-on-Instagram’ photographer and received poor quality photos.

TOP TIP - Ask to see several full photo albums from weddings they have shot to get a clearer picture of their style, strengths and weaknesses.

We prefer natural or biodegradable confetti in our venues.

We don’t have furniture on site in our venues so all ceremony and reception furniture needs to be hired in.

Most full service caterers will bring (or hire) and set up your furniture. If your caterer doesn’t provide furniture, book it via our recommended furniture supplier Ya Hire and ask your caterer to set it up for you.

On the day delivery and collection needs to be arranged with your furniture supplier too as we don’t have room to store it on site before or after your wedding.

We can help with your furniture booking too, just ask our team. If you don’t hire from Ya Hire, please let us know which furniture supplier you are working with so we can make sure your furniture supplier has everything covered for you.

Lighting Shoreditch Studios or Kachette is very important to create the perfect atmosphere for your wedding ceremony, reception and party.

There is no on-site parking during weddings or events. Cars can be parked in the venue courtyards during setup and loading but the courtyards need to be clear before guests arrive.

The closest carpark to both venues is the 24 hour Euro Car Parks located at 162-167 Shoreditch High Street. This is also the site of the pop up food court Urban Food Fest which is open for a couple of months a year so please check Urban Food Fest dates to see if the car park will be open.

There are several other car parks within a 4 minute walk of both venues and great public transport services in Shoreditch including 24 hour buses and taxi ranks.

There are over 50 hotels in Shoreditch. Many are walking distance from our venues. Here is a selection of our favourites. The Hoxton, Hart, Nobu or 100 Shoreditch are popular with couples. Hotels are rated by UK hotel star rating.

We require all weddings to have public liability insurance, with a minimum of £2 million cover.

It is up to you if you wish to take out full wedding insurance to cover cancellation, loss or damage. The average cost for wedding Public Liability Insurance is around £200-£250. The price may vary based on opening hours, number of guests attending or which insurer you take out a policy with. Please read the terms of each insurer before agreeing to a policy.

Documentation for your public liability insurance must be given to the venue at least a week before your wedding date. Some insurers take a few weeks to get a policy quoted and confirmed so we recommend applying for it a couple of months before your wedding date. You can use a site like Compare Wedding Insurance or ask your home insurance company for a one off event or wedding public liability policy. Please ask John you have any questions.
