Liv + Adam: Fun Warehouse Wedding with Smoke Bombs & Confetti Bath

Having fun and partying was a high priority at Liv & Adam cool and colourful warehouse wedding. The couple held a humanist ceremony at Shoreditch Studios rather than a formal civil ceremony so they had the freedom to play music, have a drink and keep it casual throughout.

We Heart Pictures and This Modern Revelry’s action-packed photography and wedding film perfectly captured the couple’s wedding. After their wedding breakfast, Studio 2 had the atmosphere of a nightclub with a non-stop 4-hour DJ set paired with a saxophonist they flew over from Amsterdam.

“Shoreditch Studios was by far the best option for us as it was a totally blank canvas, catered for our numbers, we could stay way past midnight, it was in a great location and a good price too. The team were super helpful so we were so pleased with our decision.”

Nic + John: Elegant Shoreditch Studios Wedding with Flower Cloud by Halcyon Halcyon

Love everything about this wedding. Classic style, really amazing flowers and lighting and have to admit, jealous that both Nic & John spend their days working at Spotify! Shot by our fave London wedding photographer Beatrici.

“We only looked at two venues in real life but saw a variety of different style of venues online and quickly came to realise that a beautifully grand or typical venue wasn’t us. We loved Shoreditch Studios from the photos alone. The minute we stepped inside we felt comfortable, almost like walking into our home.

The exposed brick and the white feature walls, which are there for the photoshoots, bring character, warmth but also something strikingly different and quintessentially Shoreditch. It was important to us to create a day unique to us and Shoreditch Studios enabled us to do just that.”

Faye + Paul: NYE Wedding at Shoreditch Studios with Bride DJ Set!

Been looking forward to sharing this wedding for months! NYE weddings are always going to be a great party but this is a first for us seeing the bride get behind the decks and DJ at her wedding. Soo much fun!. Faye has a DJ residency in a Shoreditch wine bar so she must have felt at home Djing during her wedding reception.

“The whole experience from start to end was great. The team were brilliant and always on hand to help and answer questions and there were loads of those!

Weddings can be quite overwhelming so we were firing over a lot of questions, often questions we had already asked and the venue team remained patient with us throughout. We chose the venue because we wanted everything under one roof and the layout at the studios is perfect. We also liked the idea of dry hire and being able to make the space our own.

The venue is a great blank space for those who want to make a space their own. Wedding venues can be cheesy but Shoreditch Studios allows a couple to be original and creative."

Emily & Will: Bright and Colourful East London Wedding

If bright lights and colourful flowers are essential for your wedding day, take a look at Emily & Will’s wedding photo album. The couples booked our recommended catering and lighting suppliers so there was a great team on-site at Shoreditch Studios to ensure the day ran smoothly.

Victoria Somerset-How’s photos look amazing and really showcase the bright colour and contrast look against the exposed bricks envisioned by the couple. Shilpa Reedy’s flower arrangements and bouquets were stunning too.

“We loved the exposed brickwork and steel trusses at Shoreditch Studios and we loved the Victorian feel of the courtyard whilst being surrounded by the city’s skyscrapers.

As Shoreditch Studios is licensed for weddings – being able to get married and have the reception at the same venue was great and having the use of the two arches and the courtyard made it easy to create different feels to the space throughout the day.”

Fee & Oli: Stunning Shoreditch Studios Wedding as planned by Fee on Excel

Not every couple venture down the DIY route and pull off a wedding as stunning as Fee and Oli’s wedding day. Every element was planned and executed on an Excel spreadsheet. The venue looked amazing and we love all the personal touches they added to make the venue their own.

“Shoreditch Studios ticked all the boxes. It was completely dry hire, meaning we could have a hand in every aspect of the wedding. Perfect for a control freak like me who feels they missed their calling as an event planner and finds joy in researching and preparing hour by hour spreadsheets in advance of our holidays.”

Mary + Will: Fleetwood Mac Inspired Wedding at Asylum & Shoreditch Studios

Mary and Will’s wedding was heavily influenced by Mary’s Keralan heritage and the couple’s shared love of music. Mary walked down the aisle to Fleetwood Mac’s Everywhere and she wore a custom denim jacket with the song lyrics at their reception. Respect to couples who make music a prominent part of their wedding! Love their wedding film by Hushabye and the couple were in safe hands with Beatrici photography.

"We got married at Shoreditch Studios and the whole experience from start to end was great. Andrew and his team were brilliant and always on hand to help and answer questions and there were loads of those!

Weddings can be quite overwhelming and the devil is in the finer details. We were firing over a lot of questions, often questions we had already asked and the venue team remained patient with us which, under the stress of an impending wedding, was welcome. The venue is great and a great blank space for those who want to make a space their own. Wedding venues can be cheesy but Shoreditch Studios allows a couple to be original and creative."
