It's an honour to be trusted by so many couples to host the most important and exciting day of their lives. We work hard to ensure couples who get married in our East London wedding venues are not only satisfied with the venue, but that we exceed any expectations they may have.

After the wedding day and honeymoon are over, we reach out to couples to share their honest thoughts on how we performed as a venue and the effectiveness of our staff and suppliers. “When it came to choosing the venue and getting helpful information, they were great. Their website was also a fantastic source of advice and inspiration. I spent many hours scouring their blogs for all sorts of tips.

Booking a dry wedding venue may seem a little daunting at first but you’ll be surrounded by experts who do this thing week in week out. It gives you that freedom to do what you really want to do and you don’t have to go crazily overboard to achieve it; the building is wonderful already.

“We only looked at two venues in real life but saw a variety of different style of venues online and quickly came to realise that a beautifully grand or typical venue wasn’t us. We loved Shoreditch Studios from the photos alone. The minute we stepped inside we felt comfortable, almost like walking into our home.

The exposed brick and the white feature walls, which are there for the photoshoots, bring character, warmth but also something strikingly different and quintessentially Shoreditch. It was important to us to create a day unique to us and Shoreditch Studios enabled us to do just that.”

"We wanted to have a non-traditional wedding and loved the vaulted studios, exposed brickwork and steel trusses at Shoreditch Studios. The Victorian feel courtyard is surrounded by the city’s skyscrapers.

Being able to get married and have the reception at the same venue was great and having the use of the two arches and courtyard made it easy to create a different feel to the space throughout the day."

"We were so pleased when we found Shoreditch Studios for our wedding. We wanted to find a dry hire venue that allowed us to bring in our own suppliers and to get creative. The exposed brick, arches and white walls all provided the perfect blank canvas and the two studios gave us the flexibility we needed without having to interrupt the day by ‘turning over’ the rooms.

It was a bonus that the Studios are regularly used for events, meaning that their team managed the process with ease and were very accommodating with our often strange requests and with all our suppliers. We had the most amazing day- thank you!"

“We knew Shoreditch Studios was the venue for us as it’s right on our doorstep and we had been to some great club nights here in the past and a big part of our day was making sure we had a great party. SS delivered on so many levels. The space itself is amazing. So central and a great blank canvas that you can really put your stamp on, with outdoor space to boot which was a bonus to host the drink reception.

All the staff were so helpful in the run up and on the day. We had many site visits and a big set up and they were very professional and accommodating. A big shout out to John, Joe and Travis who were amazing every step of the way.

“Shoreditch Studios was the 4th or 5th venue we went to see for our wedding in London and the moment we stepped in we immediately felt it was the right fit!

The whole team made us felt at ease and gave us the confidence of someone who has organised several weddings and someone who we could just trust and ask for help when we needed in the wed prep.

As a photographer myself and as a creative couple from the media and music industries, we loved the fact that it was a blank canvas and wanted to make the space completely our own, had complete freedom to bring our suppliers, although we ended up using most of the ones they suggested for ease, and they were so brilliant.

“We met in London and have lived our entire relationship here so we always knew there was no where else that would feel right when we got married. We were recommended Kachette by a close friend. It ticked all the boxes. Located in an old Underground station, it had two amazing exposed brick arches, was right in the middle of Shoreditch, close to the Town Hall and had bags of character.

The venue had two separate rooms, we could have the wedding breakfast in one Arch and the party in the other without people having to hang around during set-up. We were also able to extend the license until 2am so we didn’t have to stop the party early which was also big thing for us."

"After looking at many unsuitable London wedding venues, Shoreditch Studios felt like our saviour. It ticked all boxes. We loved the urban / industrial type feel, combined with its location and having outside space.

The fact that it is licensed for ceremonies was a massive lure for us as we are non religious but didn't really like the old fashioned registry office look. The staff were brilliant, really responsive and had plenty of advice and contacts for putting on a brilliant day."

“The wedding had an East London vibe with graffiti elements. Our backdrop for the main room at the reception was a projection of a piece of graffiti we created in Paris, where Ben proposed exactly one year previously. We both have a passion for art and graffiti, so we tried to bring than in.

Shoreditch Studios looked great as a blank canvas. We received a lot of comments about the individuality of the day, the warehouse venue, the black dress, the Bavarian beer house dining arrangement, the mass-karaoke sing-a-long in the evening. Many people said they’d never been to a wedding like ours..”
